Lymphatic drainage
Specialist massage indispensable in treatment of lymphedema, which most often occur after surgeries encompassing lymph glands (e.g. mastectomy). They may also be a symptom of circulation problems.
Lymphatic drainage improves microvasculature of lymph. It may consist an preliminary stage of compression therapy*.
*compression therapy – a method of preventing and treating venous system disorders. It consists in applying a compression band and solutions of graded pressure such as knee-length compression stocks, compression stockings or tights. It is recommended to pregnant women.
